With Oregon in blue and Washington in Green, the BorderClash is an event to show who is the better running state--Oregon or Washington. Held on the elegant Nike campus, the event brings out the 40 best boys and girls from the two states to duel it out. It's a 4.2k course on rolling bark dust trails within a gorgeous setting. Oregon and Washington have each swept one meet in the first 2 years of BorderClash. Who will come out on top this year?

The BorderClash has it's origins 3 decades ago in the rivalry between Steve Prefontaine from Oregon and Gerry Lindgren from Washingon--a terrific era in distance running. To honor that era, the Nike Campus houses a wonderful tribute to Steve Prefontaine and Coach Bill Bowerman in the Prefontaine Hall. |
